CIVIL ENGINEERING
राजकीय इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज मैनपुरी का सिविल इंजीनियरिंग विभाग वर्ष 2015 में संस्थान की प्रथम एवं सबसे पुरानी शाखा के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था। पिछले 10 वर्षों में विभाग ने स्वयं को संस्थान के सबसे संसाधन-संपन्न एवं शैक्षणिक रूप से सक्रिय विभागों में स्थापित किया है। विभाग में डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालय, उत्तर प्रदेश, लखनऊ से संबद्ध 60 सीटों वाला बी.टेक. कार्यक्रम संचालित है तथा विभाग का परिणाम लगातार लगभग 99% रहा है।
विभाग में सिविल इंजीनियरिंग के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों हेतु 15 अत्याधुनिक एवं पूर्णतः क्रियाशील प्रयोगशालाएँ स्थापित हैं। विभाग के कक्ष पूर्णतः ICT Enabled हैं, जहाँ पारंपरिक Whiteboard को आधुनिक Interactive Panels से प्रतिस्थापित किया गया है। स्मार्ट शिक्षण व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करने हेतु कक्षाओं एवं प्रयोगशालाओं में ऑडियो सिस्टम, स्पीकर एवं आधुनिक डिजिटल शिक्षण सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध कराई गई हैं। विभाग में उच्च क्षमता वाले GPU Enabled Server आधारित कम्प्यूटर सिस्टम भी स्थापित हैं, जिनका उपयोग Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computational Modelling, Simulation तथा Data-Driven Civil Engineering Research में किया जा रहा है।
सिविल विभाग विद्यार्थियों को शोध, नवाचार एवं व्यावहारिक शिक्षण से सक्रिय रूप से जोड़ने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। विभाग के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा 20 से अधिक शोध पत्र प्रतिष्ठित राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय जर्नल्स एवं कॉन्फ्रेंस में प्रकाशित किए गए हैं। विभाग के विद्यार्थी यूपीएससी इंजीनियरिंग सेवाएँ, राज्य इंजीनियरिंग सेवाएँ, रक्षा सेवाएँ, गेट आदि प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में उल्लेखनीय सफलता प्राप्त कर रहे हैं तथा अनेक विद्यार्थी IITs, NITs एवं IIMs जैसे प्रतिष्ठित संस्थानों में उच्च शिक्षा हेतु चयनित हुए हैं।
सिविल विभाग द्वारा अब तक छोटे एवं बड़े मिलाकर 1000 से अधिक कंसल्टेंसी, टेस्टिंग, निरीक्षण एवं तकनीकी परियोजनाएँ सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण की जा चुकी हैं। साथ ही उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा आगरा एवं अलीगढ़ मंडल के विभिन्न जनपदों में संचालित निर्माण कार्यों के गुणवत्ता निरीक्षण एवं मॉनिटरिंग की जिम्मेदारी विभाग को प्रदान की गई है, जिससे विद्यार्थियों को प्रत्यक्ष औद्योगिक एवं फील्ड अनुभव प्राप्त हो रहा है।
उद्योग एवं संस्थागत सहयोग को सुदृढ़ करने हेतु विभाग का सैन्य इंजीनियरिंग सेवाएँ (Military Engineering Services) के साथ MoU स्थापित है। विभाग में Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) का सक्रिय स्टूडेंट चैप्टर भी संचालित है, जिसके माध्यम से विद्यार्थी तकनीकी, मानकीकरण एवं जागरूकता गतिविधियों में सक्रिय भागीदारी कर एक सुरक्षित एवं सतत भविष्य के निर्माण में योगदान दे रहे हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त विभाग के माध्यम से संस्थान में Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) तथा Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) जैसे प्रतिष्ठित संस्थानों के Outreach Centre भी संचालित किए जाते हैं, जिनका लाभ संस्थान के सभी विद्यार्थी विभिन्न तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण, ऑनलाइन पाठ्यक्रमों एवं उन्नत ज्ञानवर्धक कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से प्राप्त कर रहे हैं।
विभाग की सशक्त अनुसंधान संस्कृति के परिणामस्वरूप विद्यार्थियों को लगातार Council of Science and Technology Uttar Pradesh से शोध परियोजनाओं हेतु वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त हुई है। यह विभाग की शैक्षणिक उत्कृष्टता, अनुसंधान, नवाचार, उद्योगोन्मुखी शिक्षण एवं विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है।
The Department of Civil Engineering at L.D.A.H. Rajkiya Engineering College, Mainpuri was established in the year 2015 as the first and oldest branch of the institute. Over the past 10 years, the department has established itself as one of the most resource-rich and academically active departments of the institution. The department offers a B.Tech. programme affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University with an intake of 60 students, and has consistently maintained an academic result of nearly 99%.
The department is equipped with 15 state-of-the-art and fully functional laboratories catering to various domains of Civil Engineering. All classrooms are fully ICT-enabled, where traditional whiteboards have been replaced with modern interactive panels. To strengthen smart learning practices, classrooms and laboratories are equipped with advanced digital teaching facilities including audio systems and speakers. The department also houses high-performance GPU-enabled server-based computer systems, which are being utilized for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computational Modelling, Simulation, and Data-Driven Civil Engineering Research.
The Civil Engineering Department is strongly committed to engaging students in research, innovation, and practical learning. Students of the department have published more than 20 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. Department students have achieved notable success in competitive examinations such as UPSC Engineering Services, State Engineering Services, Defence Services, and GATE. Several students have also secured admissions to prestigious institutions including IITs, NITs, and IIMs for higher studies.
The department has successfully completed more than 300 consultancy, testing, inspection, and technical projects of varying scales. In addition, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has entrusted the department with the responsibility of quality inspection and monitoring of construction works across various districts of Agra and Aligarh divisions. This provides students with direct industrial exposure and practical field experience.
To strengthen industry and institutional collaboration, the department has established an MoU with Military Engineering Services. The department also operates an active student chapter of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), through which students actively participate in technical, standardization, and awareness activities contributing toward a safer and sustainable future. Furthermore, the department facilitates Outreach Centres of prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), enabling students across the institute to benefit from technical training programmes, online courses, and advanced knowledge enhancement initiatives.
As a result of its strong research culture, students of the department have consistently received financial support for research projects from the Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh. This reflects the department’s commitment toward academic excellence, research, innovation, industry-oriented learning, and the holistic development of students.
